Defining the form and creating the frame

- Just like our last case study, we're going to be creating our own design inspired by the DCM chair. We learned in that last chapter that the DCM chair has just three components. The plywood shell, the chromed tube, and the rubber mounts. And we're going to use all three elements to build our own chair. But instead of a dining room chair, we're going to lean things back a little bit and create a reclining lounge chair. So the first thing we'll do, let's turn off our original chair and let's turn on these two layers reference and limits. What they are going to do is, I'm just going to turn off limits real quick. I use ZE a lot, and that will zoom extents. So if I get lost that will show me where the geometry is. That's shown in the viewport. This reference layer refers to ergonomic information that might be helpful to us.
