If you've just installed VRay and Rhino, you probably want to get going and make cool renders as soon as possible. But then again, if you're a designer and geek like me, it won't be long before you want to customize the Rhino interface. In this video, I'll go over the interface tweaks I use, in case you want to match your screen to these Lynda videos. To make things easier to see, we changed a few of the default colors in Appearance Settings. All these are accessed under the Tools > Options. I'm going to start off at the top. We're going to double-check our grid. I've got mine set for 30, 10, and 10. Also, I turn off the grid axes. Next step, we'll go to the Appearance and you want to dial down to colors. So, probably the most important thing here is the background. Change that to white. Hit OK. Then we're going to make the major grid lines just standard grey. Minor grids light gray.
