- [Instructor] In this next video, I'll draw some walls using a couple very handy tips. We'll make some interior walls but let's start with the exterior walls along the building footprint. Before we draw anything, let's talk about some of the philosophy behind what I'm about to show you. Now, for the standard drafting style, you would show all openings like doors and windows in the plan. Notice when you extrude those curves, you end up with a problem. In this next slide, you can see we have to manually create all headers one at a time so what I'd like to share is instead, we draw all the walls solid and any openings, you can just draw little strike lines or squares right there and then what we get is simple shapes that can punch quick and easy holes. Additionally, these holes or openings can be later moved or even deleted altogether. So let's check that out right now and I'm sure you're gonna love it.
