Creating the thickness for the cuff
- [Voiceover] Now we're going to look at off-setting the edges to build the wall curves. Before I do that, I'm going to go and select this Polysurface here, and we're going to apply it to the Part A Layer, and just use Change Object Layer. And I'm going to rename it to Cuff. I need to extract the curves along this entire outer section, as well as the inside. And if you notice in our model, it's completely seamless, there's no broken edges that's splitting it into two pieces. If you have that, great, you can always go into the Project Curves command, and use Duplicate Edge. Or you could use this command called Duplicate Face Border. If you click on the face, it should show you a feedback of it wrapping all the way around. You can also now go and select the inside face, and there's the completed edge around the surface. And if you look in Command Line when you are finished, just hit Enter. And from here we can go now and take this inner curve, make sure it's not broken, and when I say…
