Creating 2D views of your 3D model

In this video, we'll continue with collaboration techniques, and explore the Make 2D command. It's closely related dimensioning, and works great to make even more detailed layouts or blueprints. So before we start, let's make sure you turn off any extra geometry you don't want to be captured. So I'm going to turn off this label layer. Also, it's going to capture all of our ortho viewports as they currently are. So you don't have to worry about those. But the perspective viewport does matter. So you want to make sure of a really cool looking angle. That looks fine there. Let's go to the command now. It's on the Drafting toolbar. Here's the icon for Make 2D drawing. It ask us to pick the objects we want drawn. I'm just going to hit Ctrl+A to select all and then Right Click to accept. Now we have lots of options here.
