- [Instructor] Let's go ahead and start thickening the surfaces of our model. But the thing I want to cover first is adding your surfaces into their own layer. The first thing we need to do is get rid of some of these curves because they're kind of in the way right now. So what I want to do is go up to our standard menu, let's look over to the right here, and you have this icon for Select all. So let's go ahead and maximize this menu. Let's dock it by clicking on this tab here. I'm just pulling it across. You have some options for selecting. And what I want to select are the curves. So if you look here, you have this thing called Select curves. Let's go ahead and do that. There's some curves that we do need to keep and some that we need to hide. I'm going to go to our Layers tab here. And while we have curves currently selected, let's go ahead and tap on it. If you right-click on it, you have the option to duplicate.…
