Building the curves of the body

- [Voiceover] We're gonna now look into building the curves for the body. Let's start by taking the cabochon here and locking it, so use the control W hotkey to lock our model. Then from here, we'll switch over to our front view and zoom in to the right side here. Curve is still active. And what you wanna establish first is the prong distance. I'm gonna draw a line or circle from diameter. So let's do a line first, snap to the quad. I'm gonna pull out about .8. The reason why I say we use .8 is because when we build a one millimeter prong, it's gonna go into the cabochon about .2. This gives it the tension because when they set the cabochon in, they can actually cut out some parts of the metal so it fits directly into this part of the cabochon, then when they bend it over, it's nice and snug. So with that being said, that'll be the beginning of our guide here. The next thing you wanna do is establish the secondary cross section for our halo that's gonna go around this entire cabochon.…
