Basic lofted surfaces

- Let's take a look at creating surfaces with the loft command in Rhino for Mac. I got the exercise files, surfaces-lofts dot.3dm open and here we've got a few example sets of curves that we can practice lofting with. Loft creates a surface that fits through a series of two or more profile curves. So we always need at least two curves or surface edges to make a lofted surface. And we can access loft under the surface menu. That's the loft command. So let's go ahead and activate that. And we'll try a simple loft between these two close profile curves in the middle. I'll go ahead and double click on perspective to maximize and then just zoom in a little bit. So Rhino's prompting me to select the curves to loft. So I'll go ahead and just click to select this one on the left and click again to select that one on the right. Now in this case, we only have two profile curves so it doesn't matter what order I select them in.…
