Working in working and presentation views
- In this movie, I'd like to talk about a few view types that you might want to consider that often can go overlooked. One is thinking of working views. Now, what I mean by a working view is, you spend a lot of time working in Revit doing various things, and sometimes it's convenient to turn things on or off, to make it easier to get work done on screen, but it's not really the way that you want the information to be presented when you either print out a document or create a PDF. A working view is quite simply a view that you do work in, versus some sort of a presentation view, which is a view that you would actually present or share with somebody outside of your firm, or internal to your firm, but just a more of a formal view that you would actually share with somebody. I always like to make sure that I've included some notion of a working view concept in my project setup. It could be as simple as going to your view types and creating a working view type.
