Working with phases

- [Instructor] We're starting another Revit project now, called RevitProject_PHASING.rvt. Again, you can download it from the website and use it as your exercise file as per all the other previous videos that you've been through. Now, we're going to have a look at working with phases and phasing in Revit Architecture. The whole idea of phases and phasing in Revit Architecture is that you can specify different phases, different parts of the construction of your Revit Architecture project, for example, or perhaps even different phases of the demolition of a Revit Architecture project as well. You can manage all of your phases in the Manage tab on the ribbon, and you can see the phasing panel is there. You click on phases, and there's all your phases available to you. You can also apply phase filters, so you have a filter name, where you Show Complete, or Show Demolition and New, or Show Previous, or Show Previous Phase, and you've got different settings, such as New, Existing…
