- [Instructor] So we're staying in our 03_Simple Building Project.rvt file, and I've left obviously the Revit project in the same state as it was at the end of the last video, where we'd gone into Manage Links and removed the linked CAD file. What we're going to look at now are layers and levels. Now, these are exactly the same as when you import a CAD file. Now, a lot of this workflow and process is remarkably similar to importing a CAD file. But you've got to remember that you're linking a CAD file this time, and you're linking it to your Revit model, so it has a permanent paper clip onto the Revit model until you go into Manage Links and obviously remove that linked CAD file. So I'm going to go back up to Link CAD here in the Link panel, in the Insert tab on the Revit ribbon, and I'm going to select the ground floor plan in the Link CAD Formats dialog box, like we've done before.
