- [Instructor] As you've no doubt heard before, a big part of Revit is being able to practice BIM or Building Information Modeling. And that is certainly true but up until now in the videos that we've looked at so far, we've really been focusing on the M, the modeling of our family content. We really haven't paid any attention to the information aspect. So in this video I'd like to just show you really simply how in addition to creating a model that can be very powerful and very flexible and adjust to different sizes and all these other really handy things, we can also embed as much or as little information into our family content as we'd like. And then that information becomes available to our projects in the case of maybe tags or schedules or exports to databases or any place that we would use information and data within our projects.
