- [Instructor] We're in a new Revit project, it's called RevitProject_PARAMETERS.rvt this time. And as usual, you can download that from the website and use it as the exercise file to follow along with this particular video. Now you'll notice in this particular project I'm in the north elevation. So make sure that you're in the north elevation in the Project Browser. If you're not, just double-click on it there. And if you haven't got the elevations you just expand them out and double-click on north like so. What we're going to look at now is family parameters. In the previous video, we looked at system and component families and what they were. What we're going to look at now is bringing a family into a Revit project, in this case a component family. And what we're going to do is we're going to look at editing the family parameters to create different types of that particular family in the project.
