Why should we bother with formulas?

- [Instructor] So in the previous video we looked at variety of formulas and the strategy that we're going to take to building our Kima profile but we never really stopped to talk about why, why we're going to bother doing all of that. So in this video I'd like to just take a quick moment here and talk about the why of everything that we're doing. You know, you may be thinking why not just draw those curves? What's the big deal? Why do I need to put in all those formulas and all those constraints and all that math? Is it really necessary? So the answer to that really just depends on what your goal is for that family. So if you only need that Kima profile in one shape, in one size, then you can actually go into the profile family and just draw it the size that you want and call it done and it will work perfectly fine.
