- [Instructor] One of the most common mistakes when you're going through the modeling process is actually modeling too much, meaning if you only need to model just a certain area of your project, then just leave it to that area of your project that you need to model. In this example, maybe we wanted to model the existing conditions for this air handling unit, as well as any of the pipe or duct that's running off of the air handling unit itself. Do you need to model everything else inside of this room? And the answer to that question is probably no. You certainly do not need to come in and model objects like the ladder that we see here in the point cloud. You do not need to model all the equipment, pipe, that sort of stuff that shows up over here. There may be some areas where you do want to model certain things. But overall, you only want to model those things that you need to document. For what we've done so far, we've actually modeled even more than what we needed to because we've…
