- [Instructor] In this and the next video we're going to talk about view range and I'm going to start with the primary view range, in this video We really should have started with view range in our discussion of graphics and visibility. If you think back to the videos on object styles and visibility graphics and all of the other sort of modifications that we made when it comes to floor plans at least none of that actually takes place until we've established what will be displayed in the floor plan and the tool that determines that is the view range. So the view range is actually determining a slice through the model horizontally, and any of the elements captured within that slice will display in that floor plan. And then object styles and visibility graphics and all the rest kicks in to determine how those elements will display. So when it's a section or something like that it's pretty easy because there's a line right…
