- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to talk about view range. Now view range is a feature of floor plans that determine how big of a slice through the building model you're creating. Now, specifically I mean, a horizontal slice. So it will be measuring the heights of the section of the building that we're seeing within the floor plan and all of this bold geometry like the bold outline around the walls, that's determined at the cut of that slice. So you have control over that. There's a dialogue that controls this. And when you want to make adjustments in a floor plan, you can go into this view range dialogue to do that. Now, in some ways we should have actually started with view range before talking about object styles or visibility graphics because honestly, the view range comes first in Revit's calculation of things.
