- By default, the rebars look nothing like anyone would actually print. They're actually pretty nasty. The good thing is, we can change that by going to the visibility graphics of the view we're in. We can set exactly how I think reinforcing should look. To get started let's jump into our model. Let's open up our section, let's open up our call out, let's zoom in. Generally we don't show rebar with the big hollow shapes. What I'd like to do is change that. Let's type V G. I'm going to scroll down to structural rebar. When we click into structural rebar we can override lines and patterns, transparency, cut lines and patterns. I want to deal with the patterns so we're going to click on override for the patterns. We're going to keep them visible but the color I want to change to black. I'm going to click OK. For the pattern let's click the drop down. Now I want to grab solid, fill. Then I want to click OK.
