- [Instructor] We've got a different Revit project open this time and you can see the name of it at the top of the screen, it's called Revit Central.RVT. And we're going to use this particular RVT file as the central model when we use work sharing to collaborate in Revit. Now the actual file itself will be stored perhaps on a server or a cloud based site and it will be used as the central model where you upload new details and synchronize new details to that central model. So how do we make Revit central our central model file? Well the first thing you would do is save it in a known location. So that might be on a server, might be on a cloud based perhaps Dropbox environment or something similar. So you go up to file and then you'd go save as and save as a project, regular Revit project but I'm going to save it to this particular folder here; central model.
