- [Instructor] So in this video, I'd like to explore the primary user interface for executing commands in the software. So that's going to be the ribbon and also the Quick Access Toolbar or QAT. Now, to talk about these two items, I need to actually be in a project. Because they don't display when you're here on the recent files screen. So, it doesn't matter what project you have open, so what I'm going to do is simply create a new empty project using the Architectural Template link right here on the recent files screen. Now this will create a blank project, there's nothing in here, and we're not actually going to create anything. I just want to use this as a way of getting into the full interface so that I can talk about the ribbon. So the ribbon is right here. It's this multi-tabbed interface across the top of the screen and directly above that is the Quick Access Toolbar, or QAT. So let's start with the ribbon.
