Using the properties palette
- [Instructor] In this video, we're going to talk about one of the most important user interface elements, and that's the Properties palette. Now, the Properties palette is used for all sorts of things in Revit. And I'd like to take a detailed look at it right now. Now, first let's start with where it's located. By default, it should be docked on the left-hand side of the screen directly above your project browser. Now, it doesn't have to be there. Sometimes users will tear it off and put it on the other side of the screen or they might put it on a totally different monitor if you have more than one monitor on your computer. So, yours might be in a different location and that's perfectly fine. If you don't see a Properties palette at all, if it's missing, then click on the View tab and go to the User Interface drop-down and check the box here next to Properties to restore it.
