Using a profile to make a door opening

- [Instructor] In this video we're going to take the profile that we created in the previous video and use it to shape the opening of a new custom door family. So we're going to build this family completely from scratch. So let's go to the File menu, go to New, and choose Family. That should give you a folder full of family templates, and if you scroll down you should have a door family template. I've provided this template in the exercise files if you don't have access to this particular one. Now this one is the imperial units door family template. So the first thing I'm going to do is go to Manage, Project Units, and change the length to the units that we've been using throughout the course, decimal feet with three decimal places just so we can focus on the strategy and the geometry and not so much on the numbers. You're welcome to use the metric template if you like, just do some translations on the numbers that I suggest if that's your preference. Okay, so what does a door family…
