- [Instructor] This week's tip comes from the archives of Steve Stafford's blog, Revit OpEd. This one goes all the way back to 2014. I was talking to somebody recently and they mentioned Steve's pin trick right here. And I actually hadn't heard of that. And it's a really handy little trick. So I thought I would share that with you this week. So this comes into play when you have face-hosted families. And you want to re-host them. And what happens is when you use the re-host tool, it kind of forces you into a move command. So for example, if I took this door right here and I do pick new host, you see how it kind of picks up the door, puts it on my cursor, but then it forces me to place it somewhere, right? And that works great if you want to place it in another location on that wall or even over here on a different wall, then that would work just great.
