Using an ovolo profile to shape a sweep
- [Instructor] In the last few videos, we built an ovolo profile that flexes beautiful using the built-in trigonomic formulas. Now it's time to take that profile and bring it into a project and use it to shape geometry in some of the families within this project. So what I've got here is a sandbox file that contains one of each of all the arches that we've created, so far and you're welcome to do this next step on any one of these arches. So I'm going to select this arch right here on screen and click edit family. So that'll take me into the family editor. I'm going to hold down my shift key and drag my wheel a little to orbit and then zoom in a touch and you can see that it's currently using a simple rectangular profile.
