Using the modify tools
- [Instructor] As you might expect in a program like Revit there's lots of ways to do things. While it's certainly possible that we could lay out our entire floor plan layout using only the techniques that we covered in the previous video, there are other options. So in this video, I want to look at some of the modification tools that we have available to us. Now you're going to find these tools on the modify tab of your ribbon and on the modify panel. So let's start with the move command. When you hover over the tool, and the tool tip appears, the first thing I want you to see is that most of these tools have an animated tool tip. So if you just wait for a second and let that animation run, this is a great way to learn about each of these tools. 'Cause it kind of shows you a quick example of how each of them functions.
