Using a matchline and a view reference

- [Instructor] We've got a new Revit project for you now, it's called Matchline.rvt, and you can download it from the library to follow along with the video. Now what we're going to look at is how we work with, basically, dependent views in a Revit project, but more importantly, those dependent views also need to display on our sheets when we're creating our sheets to communicate our design intent. So we need to document that accordingly in our views, so we're going to use floor plans for this, and when you open up Matchline.rvt, it should open up in level 0, not level 0 east or west, but level 0, so make sure in the floor plans you double-click level 0 if you're not already in that view. We're then going to go to the view tab on the ribbon, and into sheet composition, and it's this little icon here, matchline. Takes us into sketch mode, and I'm going to create a matchline that starts here, and lines in with that internal wall…
