you no doubt have a large collection of details existing already and there's a pretty good chance that a lot of those details are actually created in other programs is when working in Revit, so what I'd like to do in this video and incorporating it into your project and the example I'm going to do, I'm going to focus on this louvre here above this doorway. This is included with the Out of the Box software so there's nothing really that special about it, but I want to go to my floor plan here that cuts through that doorway, and what you're seeing is when you cut through it in section, it really just makes a slice through the wall. And it doesn't quite look exactly right and then furthermore, because of the way we've adjusted this wall, the full thickness of the wall and so it's actually protruding out further than it should and both of those are potentially problematic.
