Using dimension strings

- [Instructor] We're starting in another Revit project now, in our documentation chapter, and we're looking at a project called RevitProject_DIMS.rvt. You can see the name of it there at the top of the screen. As usual, you can download it accordingly from the website and use it as your exercise file for this particular video. Now, you'll notice that we are in the Floor Plan Level1-DIMS. Can you see that in the project browser? It's highlighted there on the right hand side. It also tells you up here at the top of the screen. You do not want to be in level one. Level one has all of the annotation and documentation on it already, and I don't want you to use that one. Use Level1-DIMS, where I've hidden all of that extraneous text, and grid lines, and everything else, the reason being we want a bit of clarity because we're looking at dimensions and dimension strings, and I don't want them to be confused with anything else that might be in that particular view in your Revit project.
