Using cutaway views
- [Instructor] This video, I want to talk about creating Cutaway 3D views. So, sometimes you want to see a certain area of your model, and you'd like to view it in 3D, but you don't want to see everything. So, for example, I'm currently looking at the default, curly bracket 3D view, and it's showing me the entire model. And that's useful, and it's helpful, but sometimes I want to actually see what's going on inside, or I want to see just a little portion of the model. Now, you could certainly start selecting elements, and doing temporary hide, and hiding those elements, so that you can kind of peer in, but sometimes it's easier, if you just kind of create a little purpose-built 3D view, that's already cut, and cropped in to match the area that you want. So, there's couple different ways to do that. I'm going to show you, kind of really quickly, three different methods. So, the first method is, completely manual.
