- [Instructor] I want to look at one more example that has to do with proportions and scaling. And in this example we're going to introduce a conditional formula instead of a mathematical one. So all of the previous formulas we've done have been mathematical, either arithmetic or trigonometry. What I want to do here is introduce a conditional statement, an if statement. So what we're going to do is ask a simple question and based on the answer it can be one of two possibilities. So we're going to say does the user want the proportion A and if so we're going to give them that otherwise we're going to give them B. So the two proportions I'm going to be toggling between are going to be the sort of traditional 4 X 5 TV format that you see here, that's in the background here. So the width is five and the height is four. Or the more common, these days, the widescreen format of 16 X 9.
