Using blend forms to model an awning family: Part 1

- [Instructor] Throughout the course of this chapter we're going to build a complex canopy design and it's going to incorporate both the brackets that we've been using throughout the course and an awning family that we just introduced in some of the previous videos. The awning family was provided and I'd like to actually build it with you so I've got an example of it over here on the right-hand side. What we're going to do is actually close that. That's the finished version. And we're going to create it, not completely from scratch, but we're going to start with a starter file that has just some reference planes in it and then we're going to build all of that geometry to kind of get us started. So we don't need the bracket right now so I'm going to actually close that just to give us a little bit more screen space here. And I'm also going to close our finished version of the awning here.
