Using Railing Support members instead of Balusters

- [Instructor] In this video, I'm going to talk about a sub-component of railings called supports and specifically, I want to talk about supports being used as an alternative to balusters for your vertical members within your railings. So I have a custom railing here on screen and I'm going to zoom in down toward the bottom and just kind of give you a quick tour of how this railing is put together. If you select the railing itself, the name of this railing is IBC Pipe Channel Stringer and it's just meant to represent the international building code. I've got that selected as a single element right now but it's made up of several sub-components and what you can actually do is use your Tab key, highlight the railing and press Tab and sort of reach in and touch each of the components. So there's a handrail component used for this bottom rail then there's another handrail components used here for the actual handrail that folks…
