Using the Correct Lines setting - Revit Tutorial
From the course: Revit: Advanced Techniques for Importing CAD Drawings
Using the Correct Lines setting
- [Instructor] Once again we're staying in our 02_Simple Building Project RVT file. And you can see that I've left it in exactly the same state as it was at the end of the last video. Now if I just zoom out a little bit you can there's our imported CAD file. Just select it and you'll notice it's pinned. Can you see that there? Now when you do import or link a CAD file it will pin it. And when it's pinned like that if you want to delete it you've got to unpin it first, and then just hit the delete like that and that deletes it. And then what I'll do is I'll do a right click and Zoom To Fit just so we zoomed to the sort of extent of the elevation markers there. Now I want a nice clear Revit project again because we're going to have a look now at the correct lines setting. Let me show you how that works. I'm going to go to the Insert tab again on the ribbon, import panel, Import CAD like so. I'm going to select my ground floor plan. Now we're going to go for Black and White again here…
