- [Voiceover] In this movie I'm going to look at a…completely different aspect of controlling what you see…in your Views in Revit and look at the Crop Region feature.…The Crop Region feature is a border…that will appear around your Views.…You can use it in Plans, Elevations,…Sections, even 3D Views,…and then it's used to actually crop what you see in the View…so only the geometry within that border will display.…So Crop Regions can be really helpful in helping us…size our Views in order to help enable them to fit…on sheets of paper when it comes time to print.…
So I'm in a Floor Plan right now,…what I'm going to do is do Z + F to zoom to fit…and that will back me out to these…Elevation markers out here then I'm going to type Z + O…to zoom out two times.…And as you can see I could keep zooming out and out…and there really is no limit to that.…Now the reason I want to zoom out this far is because…at the moment this View does not have a Crop Region enabled.…So if I came over here and drew a wall…and placed it way out here,…
