- [Instructor] In this video I'm going to pick up where I left off in the previous one. I'm still working on a seed family and, you can either work in my copy, or you can just continue in the one where you left off. So, I've got my four reference planes, and I want to add some additional behavior to my seed family, and so the next thing I want to add is really something pretty important when you're going to create parametric families, and that is I want to talk about how Revit understands your intent or, how Revit understands the parametric behavior of your families. So, you can make lots of different kinds of families in Revit, and you can make families that just do one thing, or you can make families that are fully flexible, and they can adjust in length and height and width, and can do all kinds of variations. The ones that vary, the ones that are flexible, the ones that, we call those parametric families. And whether or not you set out to make your family parametric, Revit assumes…
