If you want to disable worksharing altogether, detaching from central offers this option. In this way you can convert a workshare enabled project into a simple standalone project and all worksets will be deleted.

- [Instructor] Now if you work at a firm…with more than a few people, chances are every project…you work on is gonna have worksharing turned on…and that it will just be your normal experience in Revit,…you'll always be using worksharing,…but there are some occasions when you have…a workshare enabled project and you just decide…you don't need it to be worksharing anymore,…I'm the only one on that project,…and for whatever reason, I don't want the worksharing.…So even though it's a rare occurrence, I thought I would…just take a few minutes and show you how to do that.…It's fairly simple, and we actually…already really know what the steps are.…
You would just go to Open and you would select…a central model, so in this case, I'm just…gonna select my architectural model in my 2701 folder here…and I'll detach it from central,…just like we did in the previous video.…Now when you open, in the previous video…we did Detach and preserve worksets,…which means that it's detaching from the central model…but it's still maintaining everything else…
Paul F. Aubin teaches you the skills you need to create your central model, configure worksharing settings, and perform ongoing maintenance as the project progresses. Learn how to move a central file, update links, upgrade projects, open local copies in detached mode, and archive the project when it's done. Plus, find out how to monitor sharing and user activity. This course covers all the skills you need to manage worksharing projects from start to finish.
