Tagging a step footing
- [Voiceover] I love this part about Revit. I love it when I can tag something such as a spot elevation, and have that elevation be accurate no matter what I do in the model. Now I'm gonna go down to structural plan level one. I'm gonna zoom in here, but unfortunately I can't see down low enough so what I'd like to do is I'm gonna control how far down into the model I'm looking. In my properties I'm gonna scroll down over here until I find View Range under Extends. So I'm gonna click on View Range and I'm gonna click Edit. New to 2017 I can click on Show. What's neat is this is gonna show us exactly what our view range is doing and it gives us a little key. This is long been needed, believe me. So for my top, I'm gonna keep it right where it is. That's fine. My bottom, however, I want to go down as far as Revit will let me look so I'm gonna go Unlimited. Now my view depth has to be equal or greater than my primary range bottom. So as we can see my view depth is gonna be number six…
