Tagging a step footing - Revit Tutorial
From the course: Revit Structure 2016 Essential Training
Tagging a step footing
- It would be nice to know what elevation these footings are at. What we can do is actually use a spot elevation to figure out and label just how deep our footings are. So to get started, let's jump into our Revit model. Let's go down to our top of footing level. And let's zoom in here. Notice that we can see little lines where our footing is stepped down. Pretty cool. But what I want to do is I want to label our elevations. So let's go to the annotate tab. Under annotate let's click spot elevation. I'm going to zoom into the footing right here. Pick this spot. I'm just going to come straight out with it. Maybe pick a spot here. Then a spot there. Then I'm going to hit escape. I'm going to scroll down. I'm going to click on spot elevation again. Now notice, I can slide from 3048 to 3656. So I'm going to pick a spot right here. Come up over here. Pick a spot here. Do the same for here. Pick a spot there. I'm going to pick a spot here. Come down to this side, pick a spot here to here…
