Gotta love those tags. My advice: tags as much stuff as possible. Text just sits there dumb while a tag is a guaranteed way to have the correct information displayed at all times. This video will focus on how tags are made and altered to relay the information you wish to see. then we will tag home runs, panels, cable trays and conduit. it's almost like taking a victory lap!
- [Instructor] One of the best things about Revit Electrical…is the fact that we can tag items.…These tags are live, these tags are smart,…so when we change something such as the circuiting,…or even what the number of the breaker is on the panel,…our tags are all gonna update.…Let's jump into Revit, go into Projects, let's go Open.…Let's browse where you're keeping your files,…and I'm gonna grab my Tagging Revit model.…Now I'm gonna click Open.…Let's get to it!…The first thing I'm gonna do is tag a wiring plan.…
So, I wanna go down to Power, Floor Plans, 1 - Power.…Now I'm gonna tag my panels first,…so I'm gonna come into my electrical room.…Now I'm gonna go to Tag right here.…I wanna go with Leader, and instead of an Attached End,…I want to go Free End.…Instead of Vertical, I want to go Horizontal.…I'm going to pick a point here, pick a point here,…pick a point here.…
Hit Escape a couple times.…I'm not cool with how this tag looks at all,…so let's Modify it.…I'm gonna click PP-2.…Now I'm gonna click on Edit Family.…
