Stacked walls
- [Narrator] In this video I want to move on to the next kind of wall family that we have, and that's the stacked wall. So, if you watched previous video then we talked a little bit about basic walls and you remember that what distinguishes a basic wall is its layered construction. So you can have one, or multiple layers of material sandwiched together to create a basic wall. And the way that I like to think of it is it's called a basic wall because it's really simple construction. So, if you cut that wall vertically or you cut it horizontally, you're going to see the same, layered structure. A stacked wall is a little bit more complicated because what you actually do with a stacked wall is you stack, literally, two or more basic walls on top of each other. So in this case, if you cut it horizontally, you might see the layered structure of the basic wall, but if you cut it vertically, you would see several different wall assemblies stacked on top of one another.
