Setting up structural views

- It's time to check out how our views look. I'll tell you right now, right out of the box it doesn't look very pleasing. That's okay, we can fix that. We're going to use what's called View Graphic Overrides. It's already time to discuss the fact that Revit doesn't actually have layers. What Revit wisely does instead is employs and object driven mindset to control the visibility and line weights of elements. Not what layer or color they happen to be. The objective of this video is to explore visibility graphics as well as our global visibility settings. So to get started, let's jump into Revit and let's go to our south elevation. What I'd like to do is turn this view over to a more coordinated view. In our Properties, let's scroll down until we find Discipline. Instead of Structural, let's set this up to be Coordination and click Apply. Now we'll see all of our architectural objects are showing up.
