- [Instructor] We're starting a new chapter now in our course, and what we're going to look at is how we develop our Revit elements from our linked CAD file or our imported CAD file. So we've got a new Revit project for you. It's 05 this time, underscore Simple Building Project rvt. You can download that from the website and use it to follow along with these videos in this particular chapter. Now, obviously you can see there once you've loaded it up that it is just a blank Revit project, and you need to make sure that you're in the 00-Ground floor plan like so. You can see the elevation markers are all set up nice and neatly in the center of the screen there as well. If they're not, just do a right click, zoom to fit like that, to make sure that they're centered nicely. Obviously, we now need a CAD file.
