Setting the light source

- [Instructor] So there are a few things that I want to point out when it comes to a ceiling based component. And one of the first things you want to pay attention to is the fact that the reference level is actually the ceiling off of the ceiling plan and not off of the floor plan. So in other words, you're essentially looking up as opposed to looking down, besides that if I were to go to one of my elevation views, you'll see that this is actually the plain, the ceiling up here. And then you'll also see with this being a light fixture that the light source is actually a little bit off of the ceiling. When you have variable height, ceiling fixtures, that reference plain that that light source is associated with is going to move as well. One of the things that is requested when doing a ceiling based component is that it has a variable height to it. Sometimes you have pendant lights that are hanging from 20 foot ceilings, and…
