Setting the import units for the CAD drawing
- [Instructor] So once again, we're in our 03_Simple Building Project or rvt file, and we've left it in the same state as it was at the end of the previous video where we did the manage links and removed the linked cad file, so that we've got a nice, clean revit project again. Now, what we're going to look at this time is the import units. Now, again, the work flow of the process is very much the same as when you import a cad file into your revit model. So, we go to the insert tab on the ribbon, link panel and link cad, and what we'll do here is we'll select our ground floor plan in the link cad formats dialog box like we've done previously. Make sure that colors are set to black and white. Make sure that layers level, just set that to all. Bring all of them in. Now the import units is here. Now, you've got options here when you click on the down arrow. I can auto-detect the units from the linked cad file that I want to link into my revit model. I can also specify units as well…
