Setting area boundaries

- [Narrator] So we're staying in our 1031 southeast Madison 02.rvt file in this case and you can download that from the library as usual. Now in the previous video, we set up our area plan for rentable area. And we've got our 001 ground rentable area plan open. Now it's got that purple line, and that purple line kind of distinguishes the boundary of the rentable area. But what we need to start specifying now are our area boundaries; which areas are which, and what name do they have, and what square footage do they have, and so on, so forth. We're going to look at this bottom right corner here and I'm going to zoom in. And you'll notice that you've got kind of a, sort of hot desking, reception area thing going on there. And what we're going to do is we're going to define an area boundary for it. Now normally, rentable area goes to the inside edges of the walls and the partitions. Because obviously, the actual physical area of a wall or a partition in plan isn't rentable. So the idea is…
