Sectioning the Revit model with COINS Section

- [Narrator] Once you've got your COINS Section Box app installed in Revit, you can start thinking about how you're going to use it to generate the appropriate sections that you want to use to bring through into your Unreal Engine scene. The thing is with Unreal Engine, you've got to bring 3D view from Revit into the scene in Unreal Engine. So you will need to be in a 3D view to set up these different 3D views, ready to come across into your scene in Unreal Engine. I use COINS Section Box specifically for this reason, 'cause it allows me to basically tweak my 3D view in the opposing workflow to the way that Revit does it. If I want to put a Section Box in a 3D view in my Revit model that you can see on the screen, I would simply go over here to Properties and switch on Section Box. And as soon as I do that, my Section Box appears, I have to select it and click on the arrows accordingly to change the section VA. That…
