- [Instructor] Another important set up is the room calculation. It is very important to place and configure rooms properly at some point in the project. And I will also advise to follow those step before each submission. Reveal all room graphically and control them in plans and sections. You can also refer to the warning tool to identify room issues. Room will be exported as volume boxes to the energy analysis software. Make sure each room is attached to the right level. Unfortunately if you misplace a room the level can not be adjust and you will have to delete that room. Go to the plane view that references the desired level and place the room there. Overlapping room, make sure all room boundaries are properly defined, adjust if necessary, then activate the volume computation. Make sure that each room is set up to the right height. Then also verify your Revit link if they should be part of the room boundary or not.…
