Skill Level Intermediate
- [Voiceover] Hello, my name is Paul F. Aubin and welcome to Creating Revit Templates: Annotation. In this course, we'll focus on the annotation aspects of a Revit template. I'll discuss the best ways to start your template using either a provided template that comes from on a disk or by starting from scratch and building your own. We'll look at levels and grids and talk about how we can use scope boxes to define the extents of those items. We'll discuss project units and talk specifically about what happens if your firm works in more than one measuring system.
We'll look at text and dimension types and discuss issues like fonts and the tick types that you use and all of the little nuances that help you customize the graphics. So if you're ready to start customizing your Revit experience by building your own custom office standard template, you've come to the right place. Let's begin.
