Retaining walls and footings

- We can model retaining walls, the same we model regular walls, they just do different things. The objective of this video is to model a retaining wall. We will then model a retaining footing to go underneath the wall. To get started let's jump into our retaining wall's model. Under structural plans let's go to level one. Let's zoom in on this area here. Let's go up to the structure tab. Let's click on the wall button. Let's click the drop down. Let's scroll down until we find retaining 300 millimeter concrete. Let's click on edit type. Let's duplicate it. Let's call it 305 millimeter. Let's get rid of the number two. Let's hit ok. For this structure let's click on edit. Let's change the material. Let's make sure it's concrete cast in place grey. Now let's hit ok. For the thickness let's make it 305. Let's click ok. Let's click ok. Now the location of the line, let's click finish face exterior. Let's send the base constraint down to top of footing. Top constraint is going to be level…
