Project and shared parameters

- One of the most challenging aspects of building a custom template is predicting everything that you will need to include. This is very true in the case of project and shared parameters. We add custom parameters in many contexts. Perhaps the one you're most likely familiar is adding parameters to your family content. In this movie, we'll look at a process that's very similar. What is a project parameter? A project parameter is quite simply a custom parameter that applies to all elements within a particular category. For example, I'm going to add a custom parameter here that applies to room objects. This model doesn't have any room objects at the moment. What I'm going to do is just add some temporary rooms. I'll go ahead and wall this space off right there. Clean this little intersection up. Then I will add in some rooms. I'll put a room here, here, and here.
